Newspaper:

• 7 x 10" flat sheet / 7 x 5" finished size (folded in half)
• 2 pages of content (front and back)
• Printed on grey paper, 70 lb. text (a copy weight paper, a little heavier than newsprint)
• Black & white
• Includes blank A7 invitation envelopes in the color of your choice
• Optional upgrade: printed envelope addressing
  

NOTE: Newspaper invitations are not printed on traditional newsprint, but have a more elegant feel for a wedding with a heavier paper weight that allows for higher contrast printing with archival properties.

RSVP Card:

• A1 size (3.5 x 4.875")
• Printed on 120 lb. card stock
• Custom wording
• Full color or black & white
• Optional upgrade: reply envelopes with printed addressing (postage not included)

Invitation Envelope Addressing (optional upgrade):

• Guest address printed on front
  
• Return address printed on back flap
  
• White ink printing on dark envelopes not included, but possible for additional fee
• Envelope postage not included

All Newspaper Invitations Include:

• Masthead title of your choice
• Front page invite headline, article + photo
• Date / time / venue details
• List of hotel accommodations
• One simple, illustrated map of wedding locations, hotels, etc

• Customized content—any of the items listed above can be removed/replaced with a different feature/article/section/photo of your choice.
• Two rounds of revisions

Standard processing time for design, production, and delivery is a minimum of 5 weeks. This allows:

• 2 weeks for design, checking the proof, and revisions
• 2 weeks for printing/production
• 1 week for delivery (Delivery usually takes 2-3 business days, but I prefer to allow at least one week as a buffer)

**PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PROCESSING TIME BEGINS AFTER I'VE RECEIVED ALL CONTENT FROM YOU.**
You should factor in additional time to prepare content, complete my questionnaire, and provide photos. Actual timeline is dependent on how quickly you provide all text and photos for the newspaper, respond to proofs, and give feedback/revisions. The number of revision rounds may also delay the process.

Once you’ve placed the order, I will provide a schedule of deadlines based on your event date, and keep you updated on your ship date as we go!

The Process:

1. Place your order online and provide payment
2. Within 24 hours, I will email you links to your personal questionnaire and a file of example articles.
3. Content: Complete the questionnaire and submit your high-res photos.
4. Proof: After receiving all content, 1st PDF proof is emailed within 3 business days.
5. Revisions: each revised proof can take 1-2 business days.
6. Final approval of proof is required before printing begins.
7. Printing/Production: 10 business days
8. Delivery: 2-3 business days*

*Delivery time is an estimate given by USPS and is not guaranteed. Standard shipping is via USPS Priority Mail.

Overnight shipping via FedEx is also available for an additional fee.

Rush orders are sometimes available, depending on my current schedule. Please contact me before placing your order to ensure I can accommodate your event date. There is an added fee for rush orders; cost is dependent on the overall timing.

Text

All text is written by you. I can provide example articles and starting points to help you with the process. The pictured design is an example, consisting of article headlines that are meant to be humorous (similar to The Onion), but your text can be as serious or as goofy as you like—it's all up to you!

Photos

Photos you provide must be high-resolution to result in a quality printed product (generally larger file sizes are better). They will sometimes be marked "300 dpi" or "Print Resolution" when downloading from a photographer.

Fonts & Design Style

Fonts and the overall design style used are as pictured in this listing. I can also use an alternate "newspaper" font for the masthead, as seen in the invitation design. Otherwise, if you'd like a new design with different fonts and style (i.e.: aged/vintage, art deco, western, etc), please use the Custom Request Form for a quote!

Proofs + Revisions

Three (3) PDF proofs are included with your order: the initial proof, plus two (2) rounds of revisions. Additional revisions after the 3rd proof are subject to a $25 fee per proof.

Approval

Final approval is required before sending your order to print. Please check the proof carefully. I always do my best to fix obvious errors when I see them, but it is the buyer’s responsibility to make sure all information, grammar, and spelling is correct before approving the proof to be printed.

After approval, the final is immediately sent to the printer, and any further changes will require additional fees to reprint your order.

Returns

Since this is a customized item, I cannot accept returns. Please contact me as soon as possible if you have any problems with your order. See the Shop Policies page for full policies on custom orders.
